Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Junior Facility Engineer to support mission-critical High-Performance Computing (HPC) operations at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio. Working under the guidance of the SME Facility Engineer this position will focus primarily on facility monitoring maintenance inspections and repair coordination. This is a full-time 100% on-site position. Responsibilities include:
Monitor electrical mechanical cooling backup power and facility monitoring systems.
Conduct routine inspections document findings and report abnormal conditions.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with Civil Engineering contractors and vendors.
Develop and maintain an understanding of critical facility system dependencies redundancy capacity and equipment operating configurations.
Initiate and track facility work requests through completion.
Support equipment troubleshooting outage response and corrective actions.
Maintain equipment records drawings procedures and maintenance documentation.
Provide support for equipment installations and infrastructure upgrades.
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond after hours or on weekends to facility emergencies outages and critical equipment issues.
