Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Junior Electro-Maintenance Technician to join our operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical high school graduate or early career technician looking to build hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing equipment.
No Specific prior maintenance experience is required. Full training will be provided on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
- Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting diagnostics and repair of electromechanical components.
- Conduct equipment in preventative maintenance tasks and cleaning.
- Monitor machine performance and escalate issues promptly.
- Follow established safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Support equipment setup changeovers and calibration.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Technical high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of any work experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in electromechanical systems.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and follow technical instructions.
- Reliability attention to detail and teamwork mindset.
Preferred (not required):
- Exposure to industrial machinery electronics or mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety principles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift carry and move items up to 50 lbs.
