Job Summary
Location: Greer SC
Pay:$31$38/hour DOE
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Project Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Commercial Pipefitters for a long-term industrial project in Greer SC. This position will focus on installing and fitting carbon steel piping systems up to 20 along with additional aluminum bolt-up pipe and CPVC systems. We are looking for dependable tradesmen who can work safely read prints and maintain production schedules on a fast-paced jobsite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fit and install carbon steel pipe up to 20
- Assemble and install aluminum bolt-up piping systems
- Install CPVC piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints isometric drawings and specifications
- Measure cut prep and align piping for installation
- Work closely with welders and other trades to complete installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all OSHA and site safety requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial pipefitter
- Experience working with carbon steel piping systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and pipe drawings
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Reliable transportation and ability to work full schedule
- Strong attention to safety and quality workmanship
