Journeyman Ironworker

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking several skilled and dedicated Journeyman Ironworkers to join our construction this role you will be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining structural steel and ironwork components across various construction projects.

Duties

Placing and securing rebar in horizontal and vertical formworks

Reading and interpreting detail sheets and drawings

Provide direction and mentorship to apprentices

Have a commitment to safety and a strong work ethic

Requirements

Proven experience as a Journeyman Ironworker with a minimum of 2 years working on construction sites.

Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical drawings accurately.

Skilled in the use of hand tools power tools rigging equipment calipers micrometers plasma cutters and press brake machines.

Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as pipe threading and assembly.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work.

Experience operating cranes forklifts and other heavy machinery safely on site.

Knowledge of construction safety procedures including scaffold setup and fall protection measures.

$24-34/hour
