Job Description

• Follows all department and plant SOPs and procedures.
• Controls and evaluates electrical maintenance program.
• Identifies electrical problems finds solutions in a timely manner.
• Oversee all estimates of electrical repair costs.
• Works on blueprints wiring diagrams shop handbooks layouts and other specifications to determine materials and working procedures needed in the maintenance of machinery equipment and structures.
• Repairs and installs electrical equipment and component parts.
• Installs electrical work according to state federal and company requirements/laws.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots conveyors and programmable controllers.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for building electrical maintenance schedules.
• Conducts plan layouts of wiring and installs wiring conduit and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Conducts building safety inspections ensuring that protection and safety systems are in operational order and comply with safety codes.
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical principles properties of various materials principles of operation and application.

• Interacts with internal and outside contacts to provide guidance on building safety

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
• Knowledge of basic software systems
