Haggerty Buick GMC is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. Were seeking a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic and repair abilities who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This is a union position.
Sign-On Bonus
- $1000 paid upon hire

Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines transmissions electrical steering suspension brakes and air conditioning
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
- Communicate repair recommendations and additional service needs with the Service Advisor
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
- Stay current on manufacturer training and new vehicle technologies
Qualifications
- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification or equivalent experience
- ASE Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience repairing domestic vehicles preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
