Job Summary

We are currently seeking aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialistto support operations inEl Paso position is contingent on contractaward with an expected start dateof October 1 is afull-time CONUSposition requiring an active Secret Level clearance.

As aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialistyou willsupport a high-priority Special Operations and Joint Interagency mission in El Paso Texas. This position serves as a critical member of the operationswatchfloormaintainingsituational awareness integrating intelligence coordinating operational activities and supporting command decision-making in a dynamic 24/7 mission environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico

  • Proficient with Maven Smart System.

  • Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate higher and adjacent organizations.

  • Obtains information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational informationtomakeappropriate assessmentsto pass to theappropriate decisionmaker.

  • Maintain metrics databases that track various missions operational summaries and other valuable Command updates.

  • Monitors ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.

  • Both in writing and verbally provide reports to command and higher headquarters asrequiredto provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.

  • Maintains and secure data on bothNIPRnetandSIPRnetandensurecompliance with policies on levels of classification.

  • Production of official messages requirements and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).

  • Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager integrating all operational command systems.

Education Requirements

  • Associatedegreefrom an accredited college or university.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of experienceand capabilities within a military settingfor the successful execution of tasks associated withspecificduty position/focus area.

  • Experience in managing a multitude of operations related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.

  • Experience preparing intelligence reports operational summaries or command briefings.

  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community directives intelligence reporting standards and intelligence tradecraft.

  • Must have a current and activeDoWSECRETsecurity clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will receive elevated consideration:

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM USNORTHCOM Joint Task Forces Special Mission Units (SMUs) or Joint Interagency organizations.

  • Experience as a Joint Operations Center Watch Officer Operations Specialist ISR Tactical Controller Intelligence Watch Officer or Command Center operator.

  • Familiarity with Maven Smart System and other ISR exploitation tools.

  • ExperienceutilizingOpen-Source Intelligence (OSINT) platforms and classified intelligence systems.

  • ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) Certification or equivalent operational ISR experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior military leadership.

  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays supporting 24/7 operations.

Travel Requirements

Up to10%travelfor Temporary Duty (TDY) by motor vehicle and/or air travelmay berequired; some overnight have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
