Whatyoullbe doing
As aJob Placement Specialist you will provide job placement servces to individuals withdisabilitiesfacilitatingbusiness partnerships and projectopportunitiesfor OptionsForAll under the Business Development Support Manager.
In this role you will:
Develop cultivate andmaintainbusiness partner relationships that lead to jobs or volunteer
opportunities for OFA clients.
Provide at least one potential partnershipleadto the OFA Business Development Manager per month.
Secure a minimum of four client job placements per month.
Present employment model to employers.
Negotiate new or renewal wage levels with employers.
Accompanyclients asneedtheir first day of work.
Createcompleteandmaintain: Job Contact Log Development Summary Log workinventory assessment master application etc.
Complete all required documentation and reports.
Attend ISP meetings as assigned.
Provide interview training to clients.
Provide placement updates toBusinessDevelopment Manager.
Effectively relay issues and concerns to the Business Development Manager.
Identifyand engage in network-building activities ( and professional organizations).
Attend at least one networking event per quarter and 2-3 marketing/vendor fairs per year.
Conducttrainingsto business partners.
Support the Customized Employment (CE) process which includes the following core stages:
Discovery Job Search Planning Job Development and Negotiation Placement Support and Post-Employment Support.
Upon hire employeesare required tocomplete the CE training within 6 months to ensure compliance with best practices andmaintainservice quality standards.

Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Degree in Marketing Business Communication or another related field (Preferred)
Experience
Experience with job development and placement strategies includingbytnot limited to job analysis and job carving
Experience working with multiple localemployeresintehcommunity
Marketing and/or sales experience (preferred)
Experience with instruction incriticallife need areas with emphasis on employment readiness job placment and employment (preferred)
Experience with small group placements (preferred)
Other Requirements
21 years of age or older
A valid drivers license reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record arerequiredfor this role.
This role requires travel within the region where services are provided.
Final candidates must successfully complete a background check.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires the employee to regularly stand walk sittalkandhear. The employee must be capable of writing using a computer keyboardtelephoneand related office equipment. Ability to lift 10lbs. required.
