Job Position:JD Edwards World ERP Senior Developer

Location: Norcross GA
Duration: Longterm contract

The JD Edwards World ERP Senior Developer will be responsible for the design development enhancement integration and support of JD Edwards World (A9.x) applications supporting BCS manufacturing supply chain finance and order management processes.
The role requires strong AS/400 (IBM i) technical expertise deep understanding of JDE World architecture and hands-on experience working in plant-centric manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Enhancements
Design develop and enhance JD Edwards World (A9.x) custom programs using RPG RPGLE CL/CLLE.
Develop and modify interactive and batch programs reports and business logic following JDE World standards.
Customize and extend core JDE World modules to meet BCS business requirements.
Ensure adherence to coding standards performance optimization and security controls.
Functional & Technical Support
Provide Level 2 / Level 3 production support for JD Edwards World applications.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve application defects performance issues and data inconsistencies.
Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities especially for finance-related processes.
Collaborate with functional analysts plant users and business stakeholders.
Integration & Data Management
Develop and support interfaces between JD Edwards World and external systems (EBS MES WMS 3rd party apps).
Work with DB2/400 for data analysis validation and performance tuning.
Support data conversions migrations and archival activities as part of transformation or upgrade initiatives.
Manufacturing & Plant Systems Support
Support plant-specific processes including:
o Order to Cash (OTC)
o Procure to Pay (P2P)
o Manufacturing & Shop Floor transactions
o Inventory costing and logistics
Work closely with plant IT / OT teams to ensure system stability and business continuity.
Governance Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare and maintain technical design documents code documentation and support runbooks.
Participate in change management release planning and cutover activities.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Follow BCS governance audit and compliance requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
8 12 years of overall IT experience with strong JD Edwards World development background.
5 years hands-on experience in JD Edwards World (A9.x).
Strong expertise in:
o RPG / RPGLE
o CL / CLLE
o IBM i (AS/400)
o DB2/400
Experience with Dream Writer menus security and environment management in JDE World.
Experience supporting custom and standard JDE World programs.
Domain & ERP Knowledge
Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP processes preferably in BCS / building products / metals manufacturing.
Experience in modules such as:
o Finance & Accounting
o Order Management
o Procurement
o Inventory & Costing
Exposure to plant operations and shared services models.
