We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the design development testing debugging and maintenance of large-scale applications. The role involves SQL database work Linux-based troubleshooting performance tuning documentation and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee coding testing debugging and test data preparation.

Develop flowcharts diagrams instructions manuals and technical documentation.

Analyze requirements application changes and new project proposals.

Evaluate database schemas write and run SQL deploy packages/triggers and improve performance.

Troubleshoot application issues using logs system messages memory disk and connectivity analysis.

Coordinate work track progress and help define standards and procedures.

Create and maintain backup and restore processes to support business continuity.
Required Skills

15 years of Java experience.

10 years of SQL database experience.

8 years supporting large applications in a team environment.

5 years of Linux experience.
Preferred Skills

8 Atlassian tool suite especially Jira.

8 Agile methodology experience.

2 Experience with State of Texas or Texas Department of Public Safety applications.
