Job Duties

• Clean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service clean and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners sponges and squeegees.
• Dust furniture walls machines and equipment.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating cooling ventilating plumbing and electrical systems.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture equipment and supplies safely and to companys safety standards.
• Clear debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Remove snow from sidewalks driveways and parking areas using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
• Notify Management Team of needed supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up arrange and remove decorations tables chairs and ladders to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned related to the operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications and Requirements

• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling of materials.
• The ability to visually discern cleanliness maintenance needs and safety issues.
• The ability to lift push pull or carry objects up to 100 pounds.
• The ability to bend stretch twist or reach with your body arms and/or legs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and be comfortable with heights.
