Janitor

Starting salary $20 per hour (Part-time) Evenings and Every Other Weekend!

  Job Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas throughout the community ensuring a safe welcoming and well-kept environment for residents families visitors and team members.

• Remove trash and debris from grounds common areas and waste receptacles on a regular basis.

• Empty waste baskets and dispose of garbage in accordance with community policies and procedures.

• Assist with apartment turnover cleaning to prepare residences for new residents including deep cleaning and sanitation as needed.

• Clean floors windows restrooms hallways entrances and other common areas according to established schedules.

• Safely and properly use cleaning chemicals equipment and supplies while following all safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

• Report maintenance concerns safety hazards or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.

• Support the overall housekeeping and environmental services team as needed to maintain community standards.

• Follow all infection control sanitation and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in janitorial housekeeping custodial or commercial cleaning services preferred.
• Demonstrates pride in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow instructions work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Good communication skills and a positive service-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of the safe handling storage and use of cleaning chemicals equipment and supplies.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing walking bending lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to work safely while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
