• $100000 to $110000 ( On-Call Allowance)

We are looking for an experienced ITS Systems Support Engineer to support mission-critical traffic management systems and roadside technology. This is a hands-on technical role combining traffic management software ITS devices networking and systems support. You will act as a key technical resource for customers diagnosing complex issues and ensuring systems remain reliable and available in live operational environments.

• Provide technical support for Traffic Management Systems and associated ITS infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware software communications and network issues across live transportation systems.
• Configure and maintain traffic signals PTZ cameras Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) traffic detectors and other ITS devices.
• Investigate incidents identify root causes and manage issues through to resolution in line with customer SLAs.
• Support Windows/Linux environments networking databases remote access and system administration.
• Train agency and customer personnel on systems products and software functionality.
• Document system architecture configurations processes and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support system backups disaster recovery and infrastructure maintenance.
• Work closely with Project Managers Software Engineers QA DBAs and customer stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 transportation operations.

• 3 years experience in ITS traffic management systems traffic signals or related transportation technology.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting live technical systems.
• Knowledge of ITS roadside equipment ideally including cameras DMS detectors and traffic signal systems.
• Experience troubleshooting across hardware software networks and communications.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments and networking concepts.
• Experience with VPNs remote access tools and databases.
• Strong customer-facing technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or 24/7 operational environments is highly desirable.
• Exposure to TMDD REST/SOAP APIs Jasper Reports Agile configuration management or change control would be advantageous.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science IT or a related discipline or equivalent technical experience.
