IT Technician

We are looking for a professional person to join our IT Support Team working directly with customers specifically in the Fort Wayne area but also includes northern areas in Indiana and Ohio. The position is deployed to customer locations for in-person support and provide back-end remote support as well. Youll be able to provide equipment installation end-user support network infrastructure installation network programming along with other IT projects. A company vehicle and toolswill be provided as travel to customer locations will be a large part of the regular work week.

Youll immediately begin working on:

oEnd user and Network Equipment installations.

oNetwork infrastructure upgrades to a variety of customer locations.

oEnsuring that end-users concerns are listened to are promptly addressed and their IT problems are effectively resolved

There are a few requirements for the job that must be met:

• Must have a degree in an Information Technology-related discipline at an accredited technical school or college or equivalent work experience.
• General technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS for troubleshooting processes.
• Must be able to communicate complex information clearly to a wide array of customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate IT problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate VLAN Programming on network equipment.
• Must be able to effectively concentrate while handling multiple tasks when priorities shift.
• Must have experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Must be comfortable working at heights using ladders and lift equipment.
• Experience with Fortinet Netgear Cisco network hardware is a plus!
