Job Summary

Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Corporate Office Corpus Christi TX
Terms: Temporary 40hour Full Time for 3 months can be extended
Salary/Rate: Maximum 35000 per year
Hourly Rate: 65/hour
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our technology support team for 3 months as temporary but it can be extended. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support troubleshoot software and hardware issues and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across the organization. This role requires strong problemsolving abilities clear communication skills and a solid understanding of operating systems and network environments. The IT Technician will support endusers and help maintain the security and efficiency of our IT systems.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our technology support team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support troubleshoot software and hardware issues and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across the organization. This role requires strong problemsolving abilities clear communication skills and a solid understanding of operating systems and network environments. The IT Technician will support endusers and help maintain the security and efficiency of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to endusers for hardware software and network issues through help desk channels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across Windows macOS and Linux environments Manage computer hardware peripherals and mobile devices to ensure proper functionality
  • Maintain and support computer networks including LAN TCP/IP DNS VPN Firewall configurations and network administration tasks
  • Assist with desktop support activities including SCCM deployments Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Active Directory administration
  • Support IT infrastructure components such as Windows Server environments BMC Remedy Meraki networking equipment and ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking
  • Perform routine maintenance on hardware and software to prevent issues proactively
  • Assist with setup and configuration of new equipment and software installations
  • Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of support requests
  • Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and security protocols

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within an IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows Windows Server macOS Linux and mobile device management
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN TCP/IP DNS VPNs Firewalls TCP protocols and network administration tools including Meraki
  • Experience with Active Directory GPO configuration SCCM deployment and ServiceNow or Jira ticketing systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware components and perform software diagnostics efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and user support
  • Analytical ability to diagnose complex technical issues accurately
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Microsoft Certified IT Professional or Cisco certifications are preferred but not required
