Job Summary
Are you interested in getting into a technical role and have no place to start This may be the opportunity you are looking for! We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in South Portland Maine!
This is not a remote role and will require company paid travel across parts of New York and Connecticut. Weekend availability is required with flexibility to work occasional evenings as needed.
Pay: $25/HR
Schedule: Schedule Availability:Sunday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm ET weekends are required
Qualifications :
Responsibilities:
Provide help desk support for retail customers via phone email and voicemail.
Log troubleshoot and resolve customer issues coordinating with resources as needed.
Utilize software tools to proactively address and resolve customer concerns.
Perform daily IT tasks including troubleshooting hardware/software maintenance and installation.
Monitor reports and alerts investigating and resolving issues including software and hardware concerns.
Educate users on IT procedures and CLYNK equipment usage.
Assist in managing hardware and software inventory.
Support asset purchasing shipping and receiving.
Streamline and maintain technical support processes documents and forms.
Participate in a flexible work schedule including weekends holidays and on-call rotation.
Engage in fieldwork demonstrating professionalism situational awareness and customer interaction skills.
Conduct client site visits for troubleshooting requiring a valid drivers license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification is a plus.
Ability to assist with mechanical repairs.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Self-starter who can come up to speed on various technologies and methodologies quickly.
Works well independently and with limited supervision.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking troubleshooting practices.
Experience with Dell/ Wyse Thin Clients and management.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Experience installing configuring repairing and maintaining printers monitors network hardware along with mechanical hardware preferred.
Mechanically inclined ability to repair & replace bag drop station doors ramps etc

Physical Requirements:Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time comfortable working in variable outdoor weather conditions year-round ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs.
Location:CLYNK South Portland Maine paid company travel required across Maine NY & CT as needed.
