Job Summary
H2M architects engineers a multidiscipline architectural engineering and environmental consulting firm has an opening for an IT Support Technician. This person will be responsible for installing maintaining testing and repairing computer systems networks and components. They will utilize basic technical knowledge to support IT initiatives and provide first-level technical information systems support to the H2M community. Job ResponsibilitiesProvides technical applications and related IT support for company-wide software applications which include testing troubleshooting and/or configure and maintain software routine preventive maintenance on systems software applications hardware networking and routine technological systems support maintenance and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves general system hardware software and network failures and with the installation configuration and maintenance of computers workstations and/or other related equipment and with the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated and updates record keeping systems and billing information; may document projects and update and maintain user with tracking inventory of computer equipment hardware tools and data entry and maintenance of records such as but not limited to project documents user instructions general reports and/or systems with the review evaluation and recommendation of solutions related to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network with research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new currency of knowledge with respect to technology equipment applicable laws regulations standards and/or with the evaluation and comparison of potential new software miscellaneous job-related duties as and QualificationsAssociate degree or higher and some prior IT experience working in IT support helpdesk or similar role with computer networks and/or systems of PC software and systems; technical aptitude; and desire to to manage multiple priorities and excellent follow-up managing and supporting remote offices and users is highly in working within a tech support ticketing system a knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software applications hardware networking and of current technological developments and trends including but not limited to cloud services (i.e. Microsoft 365)Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of end to provide directions to staff to resolve technological to communicate technical guidance and instruction to end-users on the use of PC applications and to determine analyze and resolve computer to coordinate hardware software and/or network solutions. Additional Requirements:Ability to lift and carry at least 30 be able to occasionally travel to other H2M locations for IT of PerformanceDemonstrates a courteous and professional approach to solving problems by interacting with staff at all levelsFollows and adheres to the highest level of customer service expectations for both internal and external clientsDisplays a positive attitude and ensures that members of the team are following company standardsResponds to requests in timely fashionThesalary range for this role is $24/hour to $34/ employment offer may deviate from this publishedrangebased on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristicsprotected by local state or federal : The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensationor benefits.
