Harlem Group a dynamic multinational company founded in 1995 is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. Originating as an automotive agency Harlem Group has successfully expanded its operations across the Middle East and into the United States. This full-time position will be based in our Los Angeles California office and is crucial to supporting the technological infrastructure of our US operations.
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can provide exceptional technical assistance and ensure the smooth running of our computer systems and networks. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries for our staff. The offered salary for this role is between $54700 and $85000 USD per annum dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support to employees addressing hardware software and network issues in a timely manner.
- Install configure and maintain desktop and laptop computers peripheral equipment and company software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems both remotely and in person to ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts and permissions across various platforms including onboarding new starters and processing leavers.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT assets including hardware software licences and other equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and system upgrades as required.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes procedures and user guides.
- Ensure the security of our IT systems by adhering to company policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to standardise and improve support processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other standard office software.
- A solid understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP DNS and DHCP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are considered an advantage.
