We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to help support the technology systems and tools that keep our staff members volunteers and programs running smoothly. This full-time position assists with technical support information management software applications network connectivity hardware and software needs documentation and technology inventory across the association.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems supporting others improving processes and using technology to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent service and technical support to staff members volunteers and guests.
  • Support the Ys internal network software applications desktop hardware peripherals and related systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting maintenance training requests and technology-related questions.
  • Help ensure appropriate security practices for information systems agency data and member participant and donor information.
  • Support technology inventory including hardware and software procurement record keeping and disposal.
  • Create training documentation standard operating procedures and onboarding materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology tools systems and processes.
  • Participate in staff meetings vendor meetings community meetings and special events as needed.


Requirements
  • Bachelors or Associate degree in computer science information management or a related field preferred.
  • 1 years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting local applications networks security practices and systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 operating systems preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals including monitors keyboards wireless devices printers and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of VOIP phones cloud controller management AV systems and current IT trends is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with staff members volunteers and community partners.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to technology setup and support.
