IT SPECIALIST (AS400-IBM I-RPG)

We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join the team of a well-established manufacturing company located in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

This is an on-site position. Remote work is not available.

The ideal candidate will have strong recent hands-on experience developing and working with IBM i (AS/400) and RPG. Candidates must have current professional experience with these systems to be considered.

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience developing on the RPG platform.
Strong and recent experience working with IBM i / AS400.
Solid knowledge of RPG development and programming.
Experience maintaining supporting and enhancing existing AS400/RPG applications.
Ability to troubleshoot analyze and resolve system and application issues.
Experience working with databases and business applications within the IBM i environment.
Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale FL.

Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and enhance RPG applications within the IBM i / AS400 environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
Support existing business applications and implement system improvements.
Work with internal teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
Maintain and update existing RPG programs and applications.
Assist with system integrations testing documentation and ongoing technical support.

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary: approximately $72000 per year.
Salary may be higher depending on the candidates experience and qualifications with opportunities for growth.
