This position will be part of PwC IT Services (US) LLC a member of the PwC network of firms. Teamfocuses on operational engineering activities across the suite of security tools managed in the NIS central service environment. The core areas of focus for Perimeter Security are Firewalls (Cloud Physical Virtual WAF) Proxies IPS and VPN.This includes but is not limited to Incident Response and Resolution Tuning andmaintainingsolutions improving security posture operational projects and overall operational process improvement.

0-2year(s)of progressive professional roles involving information security and/or IT management.
Full-time engineeringexpertisewith Palo Alto Networks including experience building/deploying/configuring/managing firewalls in an enterprise level environment
Experience in networking and firewalls
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree Preferred: Bachelors
Preferred Certifications:
-Palo Alto Certified - PCNSE
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven record of success as a teammemberin the following areas:
Troubleshooting and resolution of complex network security incidents to include packet capture and analysis log review and critical thinking;
Possessing experience with Palo Alto administration as well as the design and implementation of best practices;
Solving technical problems through engineering including requirements analysis design developmentimplementationand testing;
Possessing stakeholder management skills and the ability to set expectations and respond to business needs in a complex high-pressure environment;
Demonstrating Security Risk Assessment forfirewallrule implementations;
Possessing knowledge of Azure NSG Load Balancer UDR configuration and troubleshooting;
Managing Documentation for perimeter security environments;
Understanding security technology operational industry standards;
Contributing to a central technology service organization;
Navigating a matrix organization and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets.
Leveraging facts and data when approaching problems and considering both the customers perspective as well as the enterprises perspective while focusing on overarching goals andobjectives;
Exhibiting capabilities to multitaskperformingand delivering results as both part of a team and independently;
Demonstrating relationship skills that foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for stakeholders and team members; and
Collaborating with design and build engineering teams to ensure maximum capability of security solutions are achieved in the run state.

The salary range for this position is: $63000- $121500. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individuals skills experience qualifications and location and applicable employment laws. Additionally individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland this is the listed salary range for this position.
