IT Security Project ManagerRemote

The IT Security Project Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and delivering cybersecurity and information security projects across the organization. This role works closely with security infrastructure application compliance and business teams to ensure projects are completed on time within scope and aligned with organizational security objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Lead and manage IT security and cybersecurity projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans schedules budgets resource allocations and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress milestones risks issues and dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings status updates and stakeholder communications.
• Support the implementation of security technologies controls and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure security projects align with organizational policies standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation including project charters schedules risk logs and status reports.
• Track project budgets expenditures and resource utilization.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Support security audits assessments and remediation projects.
• Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Business Administration Project Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts security controls and risk management practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication leadership organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience managing security initiatives such as identity and access management vulnerability management cloud security security operations or compliance projects.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST ISO 27001 CIS Controls PCI DSS etc.).
• Experience working with third-party vendors and consulting partners.
• Relevant certifications such as:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
