Job Summary
The IT Project Manager III serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership stakeholders and cross-functional teams guiding projects from initiation through implementation and transition to operations. The ideal candidate is an expert in project management methodologies and PMI best practices with exceptional leadership communication stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. As a key leader within the organization the IT Project Manager III will drive project execution mentor project teams and promote consistent project management standards that support organizational goals and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large highly complex projects and diverse program portfolios with significant organizational impact.
- Oversee multiple projects and programs simultaneously balancing competing priorities resources timelines and budgets.
- Manage technical technology clinical business strategic and process improvement initiatives across the enterprise.
- Partner with Sponsors Stakeholders and Business Owners to develop project charters define objectives establish scope and align project outcomes with organizational goals.
- Gather and document business requirements constraints assumptions and project deliverables using effective requirements-gathering techniques.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans including schedules milestones resource allocation risk management strategies and project controls.
- Monitor and control project scope schedule budget quality risks issues and dependencies implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage project change requests and ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in project plans and documentation.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of action plans to address project variances and maintain project performance.
- Prepare and present project status updates executive summaries and weekly reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of communication for project teams and stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Interface effectively with executives business leaders end users vendors consultants and cross-functional teams impacted by project activities.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards quality expectations project deliverables and established project management practices.
- Act as an ambassador for enterprise-wide project management methodologies tools standards and terminology aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices.
- Provide expert-level project management leadership mentoring coaching and guidance to project team members and fellow project managers.
- Lead project closure activities and facilitate successful transition of projects to operational support teams in accordance with UHS and Project Management Office standards.

Position Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Associates Degree
- PMP Certification within twelve to twenty-four (12-24) months of hire
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree
- Project Management Certification (PMP) at time of hire
- Six plus (6) years of formal Project Management experience
- Healthcare and/or experience in Information Technology
