IT Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• The Technology Services department is responsible for providing and managing the technology needs.
• Seeking qualified candidates for a full time on-site IT project manager who will utilize their knowledge skills and abilities to assist with implementation and ongoing support of technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: develop detailed project plans define scope set timelines and manage project budget technology initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and mitigate risks.
• Serve as primary point of contact between project team stakeholders vendors and leadership.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards obtain approval of and track exceptions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including work plans schedules budgets and performance metrics.
• Facilitate training and support for end-users of new systems or applications.
• Perform related duties as directed.

Required Skills:

• Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT concepts software development web technologies cloud computing and IT infrastructure.
• Strong leadership skills to guide teams excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Education Requirement:
  Bachelors or Associates degree in Business Administration Computer Science or related field. OR
• High School Diploma with Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1) Three (3) years working as a Project Manager with at least one (1) year in technology.
• 2) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) OR five (5) years working as a Project Manager with at least two (2) years in technology.
• 3) Proficiency in structuring and administering Microsoft Teams channels files and permissions.

Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent):

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Successful delivery of a complex or large scale IT projects
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project Jira or Smartsheet.
