Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Platform Engineer
- Plan and deliver innovative Client platform capabilities and experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Software Engineering Leadership Product Channel Creative).
- Apply platform management technical design and delivery skills to prioritize and deliver services/systems used by multiple product channels (web/mobile for Guest and Team Member).
- Balance the needs of product/business feature owners platform engineering/architects enterprise safety and soundness and performance/scalability to drive platform capability delivery.
- Create and support outputs for agile/iterative development: roadmaps diagrams epics stories technical wireframes documentation and partner presentations.
- Define platform capabilities to enable cross-product and cross-channel experiences using Clients service/API-driven infrastructure and third-party integrations.
- Contribute to platform delivery roadmaps supporting user experience innovations technology transformation and clients mobile growth and engagement.
- Monitor platform and app performance identify issues/opportunities and lead enhancements for stability performance and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to balance strategic interests and enable effective web/mobile delivery across the organization.
- Support normal operations and major projects for Identity and Access Management (IAM) services across the enterprise.
- Develop test debug and document platform operations and application integrations.
- Develop and implement authentication and identity standards tools and scripts for automation.
- Manage PingFederate and PingDirectory platforms providing LDAP SAML and OAuth services.
- Evolve Single Sign-On (SSO) and LDAP services to improve resiliency and business continuity.
- Resolve incidents perform root cause analysis and improve service quality.
- Onboard applications for SAML OAuth and OIDC through requirements design implementation and operations.
- Build relationships across Technology Directory Collaboration Services and Infrastructure teams to understand integrations and recommend operational improvements.
- Create proactive processes to improve uptime and system processing supporting technology initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive system understanding to promote creative solutions.
- US-based hybrid role (Memphis TN preferred or Dallas TX) with up to 15% travel.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience coding in OGNL and Java; technical knowledge of Windows UNIX Active Directory.
- Experience developing web interfaces (SOAP CGI REST); familiarity with Atlassian Collaboration Stack.
- Experience with markup languages (XML XHTML) and multi-factor authentication solutions.
- 5 years direct experience with Ping LDAP and directory structures.
- 3 years with PingFederate/PingDirectory or comparable identity solutions.
- 3 years with Java Application Servers (WebLogic WebSphere Glassfish or Tomcat).
