Location: Midway TN & Tazewell TN (100% On-site requires regular travel between both facility locations)
Compensation: $91000 - $100000/year (based on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package)
Employment: Full-time Permanent (Direct Hire)
A prominent manufacturer in the automotive sector is seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Operations Engineer to oversee maintain and support critical enterprise IT systems and infrastructure across two of our this role you will administer server and network environments manage daily helpdesk workflows and provide essential Tier II/III technical support. What Youll Own
- Provide advanced Tier II/III technical support for end users and manage daily helpdesk operations.
- Install configure optimize and troubleshoot servers networks and physical IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Administer Windows Server environments Active Directory network switches routers firewalls and virtualization technologies.
- Manage user accounts organizational permissions and system security policies.
- Perform critical system updates backups disaster recovery procedures and general preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to implement new technological solutions and maintain compliance with corporate security standards.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a closely related technical field (Required).
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT operations systems administration or network administration (ideally in a multi-site or industrial environment).
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server Active Directory LAN routing/switching firewalls and virtualization workloads.
- Practical experience managing a support ticketing system and guiding helpdesk workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and organizational skills.
- Active valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation to accommodate regular travel between the Midway and Tazewell facilities.
Nice to Have
- IT experience within a manufacturing or automotive plant environment.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g. Microsoft Server/AD certifications CCNA).
- Previous experience managing data backups and disaster recovery protocols.
