As our next IT Network Architect you will play a critical role in designing implementing and supporting a secure scalable network infrastructure that enables Johnson Electrics manufacturing operations. You will serve as a technical leader on-site collaborating closely with global IT teams to ensure performance reliability and cybersecurity compliance across enterprise and plant-floor systems.

What Youll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing scalable LAN WAN and GAN network architectures.

• Leading and mentoring a team of Network Administrators.

• Managing core and edge switching OT networks and WiFi access points.

• Implementing and supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.

• Designing and maintaining plant-floor OT network segmentation including tools such as Xona.

• Implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto Fortinet Zscaler Microsoft Defender).

• Collaborating with global network teams to deploy and enforce infrastructure standards.

• Monitoring performance using tools such as Zabbix and proactively resolving risks.

• Supporting cybersecurity events and incident remediation.

• Ensuring compliance with TISAX CMMC and other security audit requirements.

• Leading or contributing to IT projects including upgrades migrations and new deployments.

• Maintaining detailed network documentation and operational procedures.

• Coordinating with external vendors and service providers.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure networking or architecture.

• 3 years of experience supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong expertise in routing switching firewalls SDWAN IP addressing and cloud platforms (AWS Azure).

• Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred.

• Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Strong troubleshooting communication and project leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fastpaced onsite manufacturing setting.
