As our next IT Network Architect you will play a critical role in designing implementing and supporting a secure scalable network infrastructure that enables Johnson Electrics manufacturing operations. You will serve as a technical leader on-site collaborating closely with global IT teams to ensure performance reliability and cybersecurity compliance across enterprise and plant-floor systems.

What Youll Be Doing
Designing and implementing scalable LAN WAN and GAN network architectures.
Leading and mentoring a team of Network Administrators.
Managing core and edge switching OT networks and WiFi access points.
Implementing and supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.
Designing and maintaining plant-floor OT network segmentation including tools such as Xona.
Implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto Fortinet Zscaler Microsoft Defender).
Collaborating with global network teams to deploy and enforce infrastructure standards.
Monitoring performance using tools such as Zabbix and proactively resolving risks.
Supporting cybersecurity events and incident remediation.
Ensuring compliance with TISAX CMMC and other security audit requirements.
Leading or contributing to IT projects including upgrades migrations and new deployments.
Maintaining detailed network documentation and operational procedures.
Coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7 years of experience in IT infrastructure networking or architecture.
3 years of experience supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in routing switching firewalls SDWAN IP addressing and cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting communication and project leadership skills.
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced onsite manufacturing setting.
