IT Manager (Gastonia, NC)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to lead our local IT operations and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT service support project management and business relationship management. The IT Manager will play a critical role in maintaining high-performing helpdesk services driving IT strategy and ensuring compliance with security and licensing standards.

• Steering and managing IT systems software hardware and databases
• Managing the analysis development and administration of data and voice networks as well as data processing operations
• Managing broad technical knowledge and experience across a variety of IT areas including infrastructure development operations and quality assurance
• Steering the support for end user technology and software
• Overseeing the conduction of cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects

Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts operations practices and procedures within IT Service Desk operations
• Ability to work independently as well as team player in an international environment
• Familiar with risk management / escalation management and managing deadlines
• Knowledge of IT related laws
• 10% Travel Domestically
• 100% on-site at our Allen Plant (Gastonia NC)

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or 5 years of IT Manager experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience Requirements

• 5 years minimum relevant IT Manager work experience within field service support.
• Experience across ITIL service support processes (Incident Problem Change)
