JOB OVERVIEW:

Seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology collaboration and creative problem-solving. The BDG Summer Internship Program is a project-based internship and the IT Intern can expect to assist the IT Team in establishing and supporting a project intake process. This includes but is not limited to documenting SOPs/procedure implementing systems developing internal analytics etc.

This is a full-time position and the program runs for 10-12 weeks (June-September).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work with internal IT team to support and implement systems and analytics for manufacturing and supply chain functions.
  • Support and further develop project management process.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support when relevant.
  • Gain hands-on experience in an IT position while shadowing and training with knowledgeable professionals.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled college/university (sophomore junior or senior) student working toward a bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Business (including Finance/Accounting) Computer Science Mathematics etc.
  • Must be available for program duration or a minimum of 10 weeks (June - September)

  • Interested in a future career in Information Technology Services and Systems.
  • Interested in working with a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to work in operations/plant environment for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in office/desk environment for extended periods.
