IT Instructional Designer

Emplify Health is seeking an IT Instructional Designer to join our IT Applications this role you will help create and deliver engaging Epic training programs that support end users and IT professionals across the organization.

Youll partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop learning solutions that improve technology adoption user confidence and overall system effectiveness.

This role ensures clinicians and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use Epic workflows in support of safe efficient and high-quality patient care.

Location:1920 Libal St Green Bay WI 54301 Hybrid work options for candidates in WI or MI only. Regular need to work onsite for support initiatives. Must be willing to work onsite Green Bay WI and occasionally in La Crosse WI.
FTE Status:Full-Time 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule:Monday - Friday. Business hours. No weekends or holidays

• Education: Bachelors Degree in IT Business Healthcare or a related field or equivalent years of experience and education
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to develop clear user-friendly documentation and training materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience creating e-learning online training content or instructional materials is a plus.
• Existing Epic certification preferred
• If not already trainer certified in Epic you will take an Epic class(es) and become certified within 60 days of hire

• Designs learning solutions targeted at employees students or clients of the organization.

• Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that content is accurate and thorough.

• Utilizes multiple formats including print audio visual and multimedia and selects the appropriate format for the target audience or content.

• Evaluates the results of training programs and modified future programs to better meet training goals.

• Performs work under general supervision.

• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

• May provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
