Capital Automotive Groupis seeking a driven and customer-focused IT Help Desk Support team member to join our growing organization. This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day technology needs of our dealerships and operations helping employees stay connected productive and supported. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy solutions-oriented and enjoys helping others in a fast-paced environment.
***This position is based in our office located in Raleigh NC and is not remote. Candidates are expected to work on-site at our Raleigh location.***
What Youll Be Doing:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone email remote support or in person
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware software network and system-related issues
Create manage and maintain user accounts passwords and access permissions
Support Windows and/or Mac operating systems across multiple locations
Assist with setup configuration and deployment of computers printers mobile devices and other IT equipment
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures
Help implement security measures and educate users on technology best practices
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets configurations and support activities
Create and update internal IT process documentation as needed
Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues
Perform additional duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
Previous experience in IT support help desk or a related technical role preferred
Experience supporting Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions efficiently
Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems preferred
Knowledge of IT security practices and basic networking concepts
IT certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or similar are a plus
Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude strong work ethic and team-first mentality
Must pass pre-employment background screenings
