IT Business Analyst II

Job Summary
The IT Business Analyst II combines strong business domain knowledge with technical acumen to improve systems streamline processes and support the full system development lifecyclefrom discovery through implementation and testing.
What Youll Do:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Partner with business units to understand operational goals challenges and technology needs
- Gather and analyze requirements using interviews workshops document analysis workflow analysis and use cases
- Translate highlevel business requirements into clear detailed functional specifications
- Evaluate information from multiple sources identify gaps and resolve conflicting inputs
- Distinguish user requests from underlying business needs
- Collaborate with developers architects and subject matter experts to define technical solutions
- Support system design by balancing usability performance and business priorities
- Assist with business process redesign and documentation for new or enhanced systems
- Provide support throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including testing and implementation
- Manage and communicate changes to requirements as solutions evolve
- Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and nontechnical partners
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT from initial requirements through final delivery
- Educate IT teams on business unit priorities strategies and operational context
- Stay current on technology trends and recommend solutions that improve business outcomes
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field
- 5 years of experience in IT business analysis or a related role
- Strong experience with business analysis methodologies and best practices
- Proven ability to produce functional specifications and business documentation
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements
- Strong analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting enterprise IT systems and applications
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques
- Experience working in crossfunctional multistakeholder environments
- Knowledge of current technology trends and their practical business applications
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Business process analysis and improvement
- Functional and technical translation
- Stakeholder communication and negotiation
- Change management and ambiguity navigation
- Attention to detail and quality delivery
- Officebased role with standard business equipment
- Primarily sedentary with occasional standing or movement
- Position is on-site with the potential to become hybrid after the probationary period.
Salary Range: $95200 - $110000
