IT Assistant
Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Assistant to provide technical support for computer systems networks phone systems and other technology equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for helping users resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware software and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving network systems phone systems internet connectivity and other technology equipment
• Install configure and maintain computer hardware software and peripheral devices
• Respond to help desk requests and provide timely technical assistance to end users
• Set up user accounts passwords and system access as needed
• Perform routine system maintenance updates and equipment inspections
• Document support requests resolutions and technical procedures
• Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and technology assets
• Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable IT operations and support

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role is preferred
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting network systems phone systems internet connectivity and other technology equipment
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems Microsoft Office and common business applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
