IT Asset Manager

Peraton is currently seeking to hire an IT Asset Managerto join our Federal Strategic Cyber program in our Cyber & Intelligence sector.

Location: Arlington VA. Hybrid schedule;

Position Description:

• Manage administration of IT inventory asset management and technical service contracts.
• Maintain and manage software licenses and updates.
• Create and manage enterprise wide asset management systems - can serve as liaison to the Finance and Legal departments as it related to the functions of the position.
• Provide support by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control.
• Responsible for asset budget preparation proven ability to coordinate IT Procurement activities (i.e. upon receipt of purchase orders) invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or HS diploma and 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Must possess or obtain prior to start date at least one of the following certifications. Continued certification is required as a condition of employment:
  • CCNA Intro to Networks Certified
  • CCNA Switching Routing and Wireless Essentials Certified
  • CCNA Enterprise Networking Security and Automation Certified
  • Customer Relations Certificate
  • Udemy Java SE 8 Developer Certificate
  • CompTIA Security
  • CompTIA A
• Efficient in ensuring corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets; proficiency maintaining / managing software licenses and updates.
• Background in being responsible for the evaluation recommendation and implementation of asset management systems for all IT technical assets.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• The ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance before start date.
  • The ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
