Ironworkers

Location: Louisville KY
Pay: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers for multiple ongoing commercial construction projects in the Louisville KY area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering steady work competitive pay and the chance to join a growing team. • Install and erect structural steel metal decking stairs handrails and miscellaneous metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints structural drawings and layout plans.
• Bolt weld rig and align structural steel components.
• Operate hand tools power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with rigging and signaling during steel placement.
• Work at heights while following all OSHA safety standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• 4 years of commercial ironworking experience preferred.
• Experience erecting structural steel and installing miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Must have OSHA 10 Certification (required).
• Must have reliable transportation and basic ironworker hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic reliability and commitment to safety.

• Pay up to $35/hour based on experience.
