Job Summary
This entry-level role supports the daily operations of the In-Park Revenue Division (Food Service and Retail Departments) Front Office. The position requires maintaining a friendly helpful and efficient approach in all interactions with team members. You will act as a key resource for the department enabling the team to focus on in-park operations while ensuring back-of-house responsibilities are consistently managed to drive business success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between team members and management team.
- Actively assist team members answer questions and resolve concerns.
- Provide administrative support for the In Park Revenue Division.
- Be familiar with and enforce all associate policies and grooming guidelines.
- Prepare and issue formal documentation for policy-related warnings including attendance infractions.
- Understand all Federal State and Company Labor Laws ensuring that we are in full compliance.
- Schedule associates for training and monitoring attendance of said classes.
- Ensure schedules are prepared and published in a timely manner adhering to the companys three-week scheduling guideline.
- Preserve the confidentiality of all park personnels information.
- Respond to any emergencies and handle issues that arise.
- Maintain an organized and tidy work environment.
- Ensuring all forms both electronic and physical are filled out appropriately and correctly.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Department Manager or Full-Time Supervisory Staff.
Qualities of a Successful Office Representative:
- Must possess above average communication skills.
- Must possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel Access OneNote Outlook.
- Must be comfortable enforcing policy and having counseling sessions with employees.
- Must be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines and make effective decisions.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Must be highly organized.
- Must be outgoing upbeat and friendly.
- Must have strong leadership and developmental skills.
- Knowledge of the park or previous theme park experience is a plus.
Additional Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Available to work flexible hours including nights weekends holidays and extended hours. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Must be able to pass a background check and Loss Prevention interview.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs consistently and over various surfaces in all types of weather conditions.
