Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage various phases of patent litigation in federal courts.
  
• Handle document production and review discovery strategy and meet-and-confer discussions.
  
• Take and defend depositions.
  
• Work closely with technical and damages experts in preparing expert reports.
  
• Draft substantive legal memoranda motions and persuasive briefs.
  
• Participate in PTAB proceedings including inter partes reviews (IPRs) when applicable.
  
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation planning.
  

Anticipated Compensation:

• Expected salary range: approx. $225000 $325000 depending on experience qualifications and overall background.

• 25 years of patent litigation experience at a comparable law firm or IP boutique.
  
• Technical background in engineering software or computer networking.
  
• Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE) preferred.
  
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• New York Bar admission required.
  
• USPTO admission preferred but not required.
