The Investment Product Strategy team supports these goals by owning the comprehensive investment product strategy:drivingparticipant financial success by evolving the VWSinvestmentproductline-upandacceleratinggrowth of investment products in partnership with distribution teams.

This open position isone ofthreesenior specialistson theVWSInvestment Product Strategy team each with end-to-end ownership of a defined product category. Theteam also includesourProduct Insights sub-teamforcross-category strategy and support.This openpositionwould be a Category Owner with a focus ontarget-date and index products inclusive of:

InfluenceoverVWSsholistic target-date offerandpositioning

Ownership ofour Glide Path Studies too

Deep expert/accountabilityforour index-only target-date products

Secondary focus onstandaloneindexequity and fixed incomeproducts

Responsibilities:

• Acts as an investment expertwithin VWS. Provides investment support and guidance to relationshipmanagement and sales teams;isoccasionallycalled upon to participate in meetings withconsultants or plansponsorswhen there is a need for an expert on theholistic VWS offer surrounding specific product category including investments and recordkeeping/participant considerations.

• Leads analysis of product investment issues confronting Vanguards product line-up. Leverages cross-functionalinclusive of investmentsproductsales relationship managementdistribution enablementmarketing legal operationstechnologyand risk. Prepares and presents strategic analysis and recommendations to senior management at various forums.

• Develops and maintains key internal stakeholder relationships across the organization.

• Monitorshealth of category competitive positioning and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for growth and retention including ideas for new products or structural changes to existing products.

• Drives the creation of dynamic content and technical marketing used to position Vanguard investment products and to respond to investorqueries. Contributes to new product launchesdevelops go-to market strategies and supports execution as needed.

• Facilitates internal training and communications including training on launches and changes to existing products. Ensures coordinationand consistency of product-related marketing initiatives and external communications across divisions.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Eightyearsrelated work experience including fiveyears experiencein product management and investmentanalysis/strategy.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

• CFA preferred.

• This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA state SFC). These will be determined by Compliancebased on role-specific duties.
