The Inventory Support Specialist assists the Project Manager / Inventory Coordinator in conducting physical inventory assessments maintaining accurate stock records and supporting day-to-day supply management across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on field-based position requiring strong attention to detail physical stamina and the ability to work independently while supporting inventory operations receiving activities data entry and stock Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager / Inventory Coordinator during scheduled site visits at client physical inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy using approved inventory tracking and document storage areas inventory conditions and item and report expired damaged mislabeled or improperly stored with organizing storage areas labeling shelves applying bin location tags and supporting FIFO inventory the removal and disposition of expired or excess inventory in accordance with approved and inspect incoming deliveries and verify quantities and item descriptions against purchase shortages damages and discrepancies and communicate findings to with price verification and vendor pricing research as inventory transactions accurately into inventory management organized physical and electronic inventory preparation of monthly inventory reports and inventory storage or safety concerns promptly to all ASCI safety policies and client site other duties as Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent one (1) year of experience in inventory control warehouse operations retail stock management or a related to perform accurate physical inventory counts and maintain detailed proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry attention to detail and ability to identify inventory drivers license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel between client sites to successfully pass a State and Federal fingerprint background check in accordance with 45 CFR to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and perform physical activities including standing walking bending crouching and reaching for extended to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting a collaborative team QualificationsExperience working in educational healthcare or government program with FIFO inventory rotation expiration tracking or shelf-life receiving and inspecting deliveries and documenting working across multiple locations with limited day-to-day supervision.
