Job Summary
Inventory Specialist requires:
- Knowledge of inventory management principles practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations receiving storage and distribution processes.
- Knowledge of auditing and inventory reconciliation procedures.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to inventory handling and storage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures related to asset management
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record bkeeping.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems.
- Skill in data entry reporting and maintaining accurate records.
- Skill in analyzing inventory data and identifying discrepancies.
- Customer service skills for supporting internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Ability to perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions regarding inventory control.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new inventory systems technologies and procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to lift move and organize inventory items in accordance with safety guidelines.
