Core Responsibilities
- Cycle Counting: Perform daily weekly and monthly physical inventory counts to verify system accuracy.
- Data Entry: Log incoming shipments outgoing finished goods and internal material transfers.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate stock variances locate misplaced items and report any damages shortages or overages to management.
- Material Handling: Safely transport materials to the production line and organize the warehouse for optimal workflow.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect stock for defects or expiration dates and ensure all inventory is stored according to safety guidelines.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. An Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics or Business is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (understanding pivot tables and formulas) and familiarity with SAP.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods walk and regularly lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs. A forklift certification is a highly desired bonus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail strong basic math skills and the ability to communicate effectively with production and logistics teams.
