The Inventory & Procurement Manager is responsible for managing procurement activities inventory control material forecasting warehouse coordination and supplier performance throughout the construction lifecycle. This position ensures critical project materials are purchased tracked received and distributed efficiently to support construction schedules and minimize project delays.
Key Responsibilities
Develop procurement plans aligned with project schedules. Coordinate purchasing activities for construction materials and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements. Manage warehouse inventory and receiving operations. Coordinate deliveries with vendors and field operations. Track long-lead procurement items. Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules. Resolve material shortages and procurement issues. Maintain accurate inventory records. Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance. Support project cost control through effective procurement practices. Coordinate material turnover and project closeout inventory.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of procurement or inventory management experience. Experience supporting construction or industrial projects.
Preferred Qualifications
EPC or data center construction experience. Knowledge of material logistics for large capital projects.
Technical Skills
ERP or Procurement Software Microsoft Excel (Advanced) Microsoft Office Suite Procore (preferred) Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred)
