As an Inventory Operations Analyst on the PIM Operations Team you will provide critical daytoday support for Targets Core Planning & Inventory Management (PIM) teams. You will help identify and resolve operational planning and executional issues triage timesensitive requests deliver business guidance and provide strategic partnership to PIM leadership to strengthen enterprise operational consistency. Your work ensures our PIM teams are empowered to make informed agile decisions that drive reliability and support our stores guests and enterprise goals.
About the Role
In this role you will be the Inventory Operations Analyst for EOS for the enterprise. You will be responsible for the operational planning governance reporting and execution of Enterprise End of Season (EOS) processes. This role partners across Transition Operations Inventory and Technology teams to ensure efficient product flow maintain system integrity optimize inventory movement and drive continuous process improvements. The position leverages analytics cross-functional collaboration and operational expertise to improve EOS performance while minimizing disruption to distribution centers and stores.
Key Responsibilities
- EOS Planning & Execution: Coordinate EOS timing and volume to support efficient product flow across distribution centers and stores. Balance operational priorities while minimizing disruption during high-volume and seasonal events. Support large-scale EOS inventory pushes through proactive planning and execution.
- Operational Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor EOS performance metrics and identify operational risks or process exceptions. Analyze EOS outliers and recommend corrective actions to improve execution efficiency. Troubleshoot EOS issues across multiple stages of the process.
- Governance & System Administration: Review and evaluate Inventory. Management (IM) governance requests to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Coordinate EOS system maintenance activities. Support enhancements to EOS processes exclusions and reporting capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Operations Inventory Technology and Transition teams to align EOS execution strategies. Communicate operational impacts recommendations and priorities with business partners.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility to EOS performance. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for EOS execution. Identify automation and process improvement opportunities that simplify work and improve operational efficiency.
About You
- Fouryear degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in retail Inventory Management Planning or Supply Chain
- Experience working with cross-functional business partners.
- Experience analyzing operational data and developing actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
This position will require in office presence in downtown Minneapolis Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday each week while working from on home on Friday will be an option.
