Job Summary

INVENTORY COORDINATOR

Schedule: Full-Time 36 Hours 7:45AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary

For over 40 years North Hill a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham Massachusetts has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65 by offering a host of hospitality wellness and health care services. The Inventory Coordinatorfor assisting the Inventory department in day-to-day operations across the campus. This position may also provide assistance to the Facilities department on an as-needed basis.

Job Specific Duties

Assists in maintaining stock room in an orderly fashion under supervision of manager
Assists in breakdown and stocking of any deliveries
Fills and delivers any stock requests to departments across the campus as needed
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the stock rooms across campus including sweeping/mopping floors removing trash and any other items needing to go to the dumpster
Assists with all inventory counts during the year
Assists with any other tasks assigned by the manager
Complies with all safety/environmental procedures including LIFO/FIFO and hazardous control
Meets department uniform appearance and grooming requirements
Complies with all OSHA safety regulations local applicable laws regarding health safety or environment

Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills
Complies with protection of health information (HIPAA) safeguards
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members Residents family members visitors and the general public
When working in Resident areas must be able to communicate effectively in English
Attends and participates in in-service educational classes Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed
Must be knowledgeable of LIFO/FIFO procedures
Must be able to use hand trucks flat bed carts and pallet jacks

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must have a valid Drivers License
Knowledge of basic trades preferred
Proficient with computer software programs

Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.

Pay Range: $19-$21/hour

Individual compensation within this range is based on a candidates specific qualifications including education overall experience relevant experience and specific skills. We strive to ensure that compensation is competitive fair and reflects the value each candidate brings to the role.
