Job Summary

Shift Details: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (OT might be required based on business needs).

Pay Rate:$22.50 per hour

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems supply planning product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in Prime/Reserve cycle counts
  • Maintaining chase area including cycle count
  • Conducting investigations for missing stock
  • Identifying and logging damaged products
  • Removing and logging short dated items
  • Putaway of product
  • Tasking

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience preferred
  • Ability to operate warehouse PIT equipment Order Selector preferred
  • Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly
  • Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend reach stoop lift and stand for entire shift
  • Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
  • Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
  • Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills
