Pronto Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk for a fast-paced production environment.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk in the Denton area. This role keeps track of inventory throughout the production process using handheld scanners and computer systems. You will double-check inventory numbers track product movements and help solve system errors to keep production running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Track and control product inventory using handheld RF scanners and computer systems
- Create review and close daily production work orders and logs
- Print and apply product labels with accurate coding and lot dates
- Count inventory regularly and record exact weights and product amounts
- Work with the supply chain team to receive raw materials and handle damaged goods
- Look into inventory errors using movement history to find and fix differences
- Support facility needs which may include climbing structures and operating company vehicles
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory purchasing or warehouse computer systems
- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or production setting
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and scanning devices
- Able to read write and speak English clearly
- Strong focus on checking details and solving inventory counts
Work Environment
- Stand walk climb and kneel for long periods
- Lift up to 70 lbs
- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Work in a non-climate-controlled facility with loud noise strong odors and changing temperatures
- Steel-toe boots required
