Inventory Control Associate

Job Summary:Inventory Control Associate is responsible for assisting in managing and maintaining records relating to plant production. This individual will also maintain department records for inventory yields tracking shipping and receiving orders. This position will work with plant staff accounting logistics and customer service Functions of the Job: Contributes to and follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and keeping warehouse inventory with department heads to ensure coordination of inventory activities and other functions such as production sales records control and purchasing. Maintain ingredients and material in a First In First Out basis (FIFO)Maintains files for all incoming and outgoing inventory counts and cycle count workloads when and completion of production batchesWorks with Quality to maintain good traceability on all production documentation for audit to company GMPs (good manufacturing practices) safety procedures and all other quality PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when other duties as Responsibilities:NoneQualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manufacturing environment experience and Skills:Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is beneficial. Outstanding verbal written multi-tasking and presentation skills. Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change by participating in plant daily management systems. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint software and be proficient with MS Excel software.
