Laramie Auto Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Used Car Buyer to join our team. As a Used Car Buyer you will be responsible for evaluation and acquiring used vehicles for our inventory. If you have a deep understanding of the used car market excellent negotiation skills and a passion for quality we encourage you to apply. were looking to add a passionate problem-solver to our winning team and help us continue a legacy of excellence.

What Youll Do

• Research and identify potential sources of used cars including auctions and private sellers.
• Inspect and appraise vehicles to determine their condition value and market potential.
• Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers striving for the best possible deals.
• Stay up to date on market trends values and demand for different makes and models.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure inventory meets customer demands.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in all transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and vendors.

What Youll Bring

• Prefer experience in buying used cars ideally in a dealership or automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to assess a vehicles condition accurately.
• Valid drivers license and the ability to travel for inspections and purchases.
• Understanding of legal and ethical consideration in the used car buying process.
