Inventory Associate

Position Introduction:

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inventory Associate to support the daily operations of its stockroom and materials management functions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring faculty staff researchers and students have timely access to the supplies equipment and resources necessary to support teaching research and laboratory activities.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• 24 months experience in inventory control and/or material management procurement or closely related experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Valid Oklahoma Drivers License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.

Department Preferences:

• Experience working in a laboratory scientific academic or higher education environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing procedures.
• Experience handling laboratory supplies chemicals or hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with shipping receiving and warehouse operations.
