Inventory Associate II 1st Shift

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person the Inventory Control Associate II is responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly accounted for with the distribution area. This position is responsible for adhering to the safety guidelines Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pmResponsibilities:Resolution of lost pallets and tracking the historyRetagging and/or archiving pallet ticketsConducting daily/weekly cycle counts to a regimented schedulePerform physical inventory controlsCreate daily pallet reports and exception reportsConduct investigations of inventory loss when necessaryTrace inventory for recall when necessaryQualifications:2 years inventory counting experience in a warehouse environmentHigh school diploma or equivalency certification (cherry picker hi lo rider jack) experience requiredWMS experience preferredFlexibility for overtime when neededMust be able to read/write EnglishAbility to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timelyMust be comfortable with working with heightsSome Excel and Outlook experience requiredMust be an accurate counterMust comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingOther duties as assignedMust be able to lift 50lbsWork environment may be exposed to powders chemicals and allergens (peanuts tree nuts milk dairy eggs wheat gluten soy fish and shellfish).Ability to work in a physically challenging environment including bending twisting and standing for up to 8 hoursWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
